Ham Exams at the FCARC Hamfest

Ham Exams will be held during the FCARC Hamfest Sunday, November 7, 2021 at the Starlite Club, Hwy 55 and County JJ north of Kaukauna. Registration begins at 9 am.

We will continue to practice our Covid-19 virus protocol by maintaining safe distancing and strongly recommend unvaccinated attendees wear a face mask. If you are feeling sick or have a fever STAY HOME!

Pre-registration is preferred but walk ins will be allowed. Those that pre-register will be tested first.

Please read the following carefully:

A picture ID and a FCC Registration Number is required. FRN's are free and can be obtained from the FCC website at https://apps.fcc.gov/coresWeb/publicHome.do. An email address is required as well. Applications will not be processed without one. Social Security numbers are not accepted as a replacement for an FRN.

Cost of the exam is $15.

You will need to provide your own pencils and/or pens and calculator (cell phone calculator apps are not permitted) and cell phones must be off.

IF YOU ARE UPGRADING YOUR LICENSE YOU MUST PROVIDE A COPY OF YOUR CURRENT LICENSE.

Failed exams can be retaken if time allows. You will be charged $15 for each retake.

Start time is 9 am. Registration ends at 10 am.
