FCARC Ham License Testing, Saturday, September 19, 2026
FCARC Ham Exams will be held Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the Fox Valley Technical College, 1825 N. Bluemound Dr. Appleton, WI 54914. Room A158. Enter at Door 15 from the north parking lot.
Registration is from 8 to 9 am only. You must have a valid email address and a FRN (FCC Registration Number) to register for an exam. You can obtain a FRN from the FCC.gov website free of charge. Cost of the exam is $15, under 18 $5. Checks can be made out to the FCARC. In the event of a failed exam, you may take another version - time permitting. Each retake is $15, under 18, $5. Non cell phone calculators are allowed, and cell phones must be off during the exam.

FCARC Annual Picnic
FCARC Annual Corn Roast & Brat Fry
Calling all FCARC members, family members, friends, relatives, folks interested in ham radio... come on out for a picnic.
Saturday, August 15th, 2026. 11am to 2pm-ish. Sunset Park, Kimberly. Pavilion #1.
The club will provide brats, hamburgers, hot dogs, roasted corn, water, soda pop and all the paper goods. You bring a dish to pass. We are right next to the playground so the location is child friendly. Someone will hide the fox and we'll have a fox hunt. We may even do some radio things - if you bring a radio along. There might even be a raffle. :-)

ADDITIONAL HELP NEEDED FOR EAA 2026
A number of operator shifts' are under staffed
This years EAA Spectial Event Station is in critical need of addtional operators. In particular Friday afternoon, both Saturday shifts and set-up, and take down are quite short and may have to be cancled. This would be unpresidented, in the history of the event. Please take the time to check the sign up tab above an see if you might be able to help.

2026 General Membership Meeting Location (Q1 & Q2)
For the first half of 2026, we will be meeting in Room F108 at Fox Valley Technical College. This room has theater style seating so if you are agile, please sit in the higher rows.

December General Membership Meeting & Potluck
Our December General Membership Meeting - and potluck dinner - will be in the George Scherck shelter at Neenah's Memorial Park, 1175 Apple Blossom Drive. Yes, it is indoors with heat. Please bring a dish to pass and whatever non-alcoholic drink you would like (park rules).
The 50/50 prize is a super amazing hologram fan. You absolutely want it.
There is a large parking lot just past the shelter. It's a great location.
