The FCARC is holding ham exams January 30, 2021 at Maplewood Middle School in Menasha.
Because of the still very active Covid-19 virus we will continue with our practice of maintaining safe distancing and we'll only test a few people at a time. There may be fewer Volunteer Examiners than what would be needed to conduct the exams efficiently so wait times could be long. We asked that you pre-register for this session. Walk ins will be allowed but those that pre-register will be tested first.

A picture ID is required.
Cost of the exam is $15.
Masks are required and you must provide your own! It must be worn properly over the nose and mouth. Removal of your mask while in the exam room will end your session. Masks are used to protect you and us, the VE’s. If you have issues wearing one then don’t attend this exam session.
You will need to provide your own pencils and/or pens and calculator (cell phone calculator apps are not permitted). Cell phones must be off.
If you are upgrading your license you must provide a copy of your current license.
A Federal Registration Number is required. You can get one on the www.FCC.Gov website. A Social Security number is no longer accepted by the FCC. https://apps.fcc.gov/coresWeb/publicHome.do.
An email address is required on the application.
Failed exams can be retaken if time allows and you will be charged $15 for each retake.
If you pre-register and fail to show up you will not be allowed to pre-register for future FCARC Exams.
If you are feeling sick or have a fever STAY HOME and call to let us know that you won’t be there. Test areas will be marked and sanitized between each use.
Start time is 8 am. Registration ends at 9 am.
