FCARC Nets

2 Meter Net - Weekly

The FCARC hosts a weekly two meter on the 146.760 repeater. The 146.760 uses a 100.0 Hz tone or you can use the downtown Appleton receive site which use a 107.2 tone. Net starts at 8:00 PM local time on Wednesday night.

6 Meter Net - Monthly

This FCARC net meets once a month on 52.550 MHz. Typically, the net meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 8 pm, which is the day following the club meeting. If the meeting happens to be scheduled on a Tuesday, such as in January, then this net will meet on Monday.

2 Meter Slow Scan TV Net - Monthly

Hams in range of Appleton, WI are invited to check into the Fox Cities Amateur Radio Club (FCARC) SSTV net. The purpose of this net is to help hams learn, experiment and use Slow Scan TV in the quiet and safety of 2 meters. This net meets at 6 pm on a designated Sunday each month. We use the FCARC repeater frequency, 145.330 MHz with Tone 100.0. If that is busy, we will use the SSTV national calling frequency for 2 meter simplex which is 145.500 MHz.

This net typically meets on the second Sunday of each month at 6 pm. Your NCS for this semi-formal, directed net is Larry WB9KMW.
