W9ZL 2017 EAA Special Event Station on the air!

Starting on Wednesday July 26 through Sunday July 30 2017 the W9ZL EAA Airventure Special Event Station will be on the air. We will be operating from 1300 UTC to 2030 UTC Wednesday through Saturday, and 1300 UTC to 1700 UTC on Sunday July 30 2017. We will be operating on 14,270, 7,250 and 50,150.

Walk MS - Oshkosh September 17

The Fox Cities Amateur Radio Club will be holding a brat fry at the Northland Avenue Festival Foods from 9 am to 5 pm this Sunday.

The next FCARC VE Exam will be Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Fox Valley Technical College, 1825 N. Bluemound Drive, Appleton, 54912-2277.
The room number is B142 and the closest entrance is door 12 located on the west side of the building. You can view a floor plan of the College at the following website.
http://www.fvtc.edu/appleton. Walk-ins are welcome. Registration is from 8 to 9 am. We only have the room until 11 am so we will not be able to accommodate late arrivals.

Selling my Ten Tec Eagle with the the following options: ATU, 2.4 kc ssb filter, 600 hz and 300 hz CW filters, noise blanker, and also, a Model 712 interface for digital modes. Just connect it between the Eagle ACC port and a USB port on your PC. This rig has been well taken care of. This has been a CW radio only … no mic. Includes instructions, dc power cord. The Alinco DR-635T is a twin band mobile transceiver operating on the 2 meter and 70 cm bands. Receive coverage is 108 to 173.995 and 335 to 480 MHz. Special Event Station is rapidly drawing to a close. There are still
plenty of operating positions available. If you haven't signed up yet
and wish to operate please do so to insure that you get the assignment
you desire. If you have already signed up and can make any additional
shifts that would be greatly appreciated.
